TSRC (Technology Society and Research Center) group is addressing three major topics as below. First, our team forecasts a technology paradigm shift by figuring out a new trend of technology, and offers practical, step-by-step guidelines for commercializing knowledge, entrepreneurial process and spin-offs. Second, we focus on IT Management using Intelligent Information Systems on Electronic and Mobile Commerce, Social Network Services, etc. Intelligent Analytics are applied into analyze and design new emerging markets using semantic web processing. Last, we are investigating how human brain processes information.
TSRC group opens humanities and social sciences courses like management of technology, economics of technological innovation, cognitive science, psychology, scientific philosophy, convergence and innovation, etc. All YICT members are actively interacting and cooperating with each other to create innovative and internationally competitive convergence technologies and successfully commercialize the discoveries.
Information, Communication, Technology & Management: Our current primary research topics are Intelligent Traveling Recommendation Systems, Health Service Cloud Systems, Decision Support Systems using Intelligent Analytics, Customer Relationship Management in emerging Online Markets, Semantic Web Services in Electronic Commerce, IoT in emerging ICT-based Markets etc.
Management of Technology: We are also focus on the creation, diffusion and commercialization of new knowledge in the field of Management of Technology: how the emerging technology affects new market opportunities and how to decide on and route to commercialization of the technologies. In this regard, we are conducting a market/industry research in a variety of areas to offer advice, information and knowledge in the creation and build of internationally competitive businesses, embracing global marketing, technology transfer, intelligent property protection, M&A, and R&D investment etc. In addition, we are addressing the current issues of government policies, regulations, institutions supporting the dynamics of innovation in ICT convergence industries.
Cognitive Science: With psychophysical experiments and computational modeling, we are working on an observer model which can overarch perception, attention, learning, and decision making. We have also been developing a family of new data collection methods for psychophysical experiments by taking advantage of recent advances of information theory and Bayesian statistics.
